Here at Welling, we’ve been in the industry a long time. Since 1999, our team has been working to bring a great range of products and an exceptional customer experience to everybody who gets in touch with us.

For us, the next step in that journey was a new website. We’d used the previous site for many years, and it was no longer serving our customers in the way that we’d wanted. With more and more people looking online, we knew it was time for a new start for our website! 

We spent a long time working with an agency to make sure that the end product was all about making things even better for our customers. We’re excited to be able to bring some great new features to our customers that make finding what you need, ordering it, and seeing it come to your door quick and simple.

Whilst we’ve got many loyal customers who know the way things work here at Welling, we wanted to make sure that new customers could get up to speed as easily as possible. That’s where the FAQs come in! We’ve got all the key information that you need to find and purchase architectural ironmongery products from us, to save you a phone call with our team. 

Easy to find Product Datasheets

If you want to know which product fits your requirements, it’s now easier than ever to find the datasheet, directly at the top of every page. Here, you can see every product category and download the information you need with just the press of a button. 

Viewable Invoices from Website Orders

We’ve updated the way we provide invoices to make sure that every website order has a viewable invoice in your account area. This way, it’s easier than ever to keep track of your orders from us.  

Ordering is easier 

Brand New Product kits

For some product types, such as Sliding Glass Doors, we have made it easier for our customers to get everything they need to get the job done. Our team have created Kits for glass, timber and pocket sliding doors so that you can get everything in one place. 

Clear Check Out Functionality

Once you’ve added everything you need to your online basket, it shouldn’t be difficult to complete the purchase process! We’ve changed the way that our customers check out to make it a smoother and faster experience. 

Live Stock Information

There’s nothing more frustrating than finding out too late that the product you were looking for isn’t in stock anymore. Our new site has live stock information so that you can be sure the product you need is available. 

Multiple Quantity Product Discount

It’s not uncommon for our customers to need large quantities of our products. We’ve now introduced discounts for higher-volume purchases of selected products! With over 200+ products now listed with multiple quantity discounts.

Finding what you need is easier

Clearer Product Page Layout

We worked closely with our design team to make sure that our product pages had everything our customers needed within easy reach. You can find all the details of the product, as well as the specifications in a quick one-look tab. 

Category Search Filters

It’s now even easier to filter product lists to find what you need, with the addition of search filters on our category pages. This way, you can make sure that all of the options on your screen fit the dimensions, thicknesses and colour choices that you need.  

Easy Navigation 

We’ve changed the way our site was laid out to make it as easy as possible to navigate. We went with a big menu, organised into different sections so that it was simple to find the area your product is in, and to make sure you’re in the right place. We’ve also included related products to help you get everything you need, right on the product page. 

A better customer experience

Easy Refunds

With our new system, refunds are quick and easy. We’ve got a clear page on how it all works on our site, as well as some information on the FAQs page. We’ll take you to a short form where you can arrange the refund, and our team will be in touch with you to finalise everything. 

Order Tracking

Welling customers can now keep track of their order with our new Order Tracking functionality. You’ll receive order tracking information from the team, which enables you to see when it’s been shipped and when it’s likely to arrive.  

We’ve loved hearing our customers’ reaction to our new site. We’ve had some great responses, and look forward to hearing more! We’re delighted to have taken another step in our ongoing mission to deliver the best possible products, customer service and experience.
