For use with electronic strike plate where lever handle operation is only needed one side.

Instructions for this function:
Cut spindle down to appropriate length, so it only engages with lever handle on the side required. Then grub screw the spindle into position to ensure the spindle stays secure. Lever handle on other side is fixed by the back to back fixings supplied, but the spindle doesn’t connect with this handle, rendering the external side lever handle inactive in retracting the latch mechanism. Alternatively, for a better strength solution, order the split spindle (570.0930.17) and ensure that the part of the spindle passing through the lock follower, is connected to the lever handle which is required for operation. The dummy handle can then connect with the un-used part of the spindle, giving it some more strength, though still remaining dummy function.
Ideal for applications where the outside is accessible by activation of the electronic strike (by a suitable proximity reader) and the lever handle is ‘dummy’ and inside the handle retracts the latch for exit without any fob needed.

Please note – if fitting with electronic strike, the lock body cannot be fitted with a cylinder, as the double throw lock mechanism does not work with electronic strike plate.
We do not recommend a specific strike plate in conjunction with this patch lock.
Rose fixings at 38mm centres, 6 & 12 o’clock.

Suitable for Pax-lock pro access control stand-alone unit, with the body horizontally fitted and fixing centres matching at 38mm c/c and 6 o clock and 12 o clock when body fitted horizontally.
